Chemical Inventory Software - Hazardous Materials Management

An accurate chemical inventory is vital to running an effective, integrated hazardous materials and product stewardship program. ESS' chemical inventory module makes it easy to track chemical inventory information for use in satisfying inventory-related regulatory requirements. By creating a central data repository, the chemical inventory module lets professionals share material information to reduce the time and costs of ensuring regulatory compliance enterprise-wide.

Benefits & Features

  Benefits Features
Tracks locations and amounts of hazardous materials on-site Tracks movement of materials in and out of storage and lets users produce regulatory reports, based on either estimates of the quantities involved or specific transaction details such as additions, use, transfers and balance adjustments.
Centralizes materials data The module is pre-loaded with information on more than 1,500 pure chemicals and allows the user to create and track user-defined pure chemicals and mixtures. The centralized materials data repository allows users to track material properties, compositions, synonyms, physical states, physical properties, hazard categories, regulatory lists and exposure limits and other properties over time.
Standardizes nomenclature and processes with verifiable data across the enterprise Inventory transactions and estimates are preformed with validated data for materials, locations, contacts and container storage codes.
Leverages and complement existing ERP systems Configure the solution's material database with enterprise data or electronically import data from a commercial or existing database sources.
Saves time, money and resources The module uses material information and inventory data to generate SARA 311, SARA 312 Tier II (electronic submittal using EPA's Tier2 Submit software) as well as the SARA 313, TRI threshold determination. It allows users to export substance data to IUCLID 5 for REACH compliance. It accurately handles all complex calculations demanded by these reports minimizing investment of time and resources.
