Recording and evaluating job hazards are important components of a comprehensive health and safety program. Detailed Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) allow environmental, health and safety professionals define potential hazards and precisely communicate specific task steps.
The module allows users to :
| Benefits | Features | ||
| Recognizes and defines job hazards | Identifies hazards and required control measures for each task step. Document environmental or ergonomic conditions | ||
| Institutes safety processes for hazard reduction | Associates personal protective equipment (PPE) to each task step and pinpoint root causes associated with PPE. | ||
| Develops consistent and thorough JHA auditing processes | Attaches Windows® supported media files, images, and documents to JHAs, including observational videos, facility diagrams or photographs showing potential hazards. Records all parties involved in JHAs, including those interviewed, observed, or otherwise concerned. | ||
| Documents non-regulatory factors to identify high risk functions or areas | Associates JHAs with job titles, departments, and locations to track potential areas or job roles where job hazards may be more likely to occur. | ||
| Defines proactive measures | Associates training requirements to the JHA and those will appear as required training in the affected employee’s record in the Training Management Software | ||
| Saves time by eliminating duplicated effort | Defines standard phrases for describing hazards and control measures and reapply JHAs for similar jobs. Uses duplicate function to copy over full JHA content for similar tasks or for jobs at another facility | ||
