TEMPE, Ariz. - April 8, 2009 - ESS, the leading provider of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) and Crisis Management software for enterprise sustainability, today introduces Essential Mobile™, a set of wireless technology applications that make compliance data collection more efficient.
With Essential Mobile, EH&S professionals can use a handheld mobile device to collect and process information from widely distributed facility locations and upload it directly via wireless connection or in a batch process into a centralized ESS Essential Suite® platform for environmental compliance management. Powered by Microsoft® technology, Essential Mobile software provides robust and secure data management capabilities in support of multiple wireless devices, including industry-leading providers Motorola USA and Intermec. The new ESS application set currently includes two options:
"ESS' new wireless technology software makes EH&S data collection more efficient and affordable. In today's challenging economy, companies are looking for every opportunity to leverage EH&S processes in support of operational excellence.
