EH&S and Crisis Management Awards Program Announced By ESS
ESS Excellence Awards acknowledge users of advanced information management tools for optimizing compliance and risk management strategies. Submissions due by July 31st
TEMPE, Ariz. ― July 18, 2006 ― ESS, the leading provider of Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and Crisis Management software and services for Operational Risk Management, today announced the creation of an awards program that is designed to recognize organizations worldwide that are making the best use of advanced information management tools for environmental compliance and emergency response.
The ESS Excellence Awards, sponsored by Pollution Engineering and Industrial Safety and Hygiene News, acknowledge individuals and organizations that have achieved significant results, internally or externally, through the use of cutting-edge EH&S and Crisis Management software implementations. Winners will be honored at an awards gala to be held October 10, 2006, during ESS EXPO.06, the Business Conference and Workshop for Essential Suite® and Compliance Suite® Users, scheduled for October 8-12 at Pointe South Mountain Resort in Phoenix. Names of the winners will be published in Pollution Engineering and Industrial Safety & Hygiene News.

There are four main categories of awards. In addition, a Best Overall Award will be selected from the winners in these same categories, which are as follows:
