Hall of Fame Golfer Hale Irwin to Appear at ESS EXPO.06
Three-time U.S. Open winner scheduled to participate in conference golf tournament awards ceremony and"meet and greet" during Monday night mixer
TEMPE, Ariz. ― June 28, 2006 ― Three-time U.S. Open winner Hale Irwin will be a featured guest at ESS EXPO.06, the annual Business Conference and Workshop for Essential Suite® and Compliance Suite® Users, Robert Johnson, CEO of ESS, announced today.
With 44 Champions Tour victories, Irwin has re-written the Tour record book after a 20-win career on the PGA Tour and an outstanding 13-5-2 record in five Ryder Cup appearances. He is scheduled to give an address on October 9th entitled, "Successful Winning Strategies," and participate in an awards ceremony for winners of the annual ESS Golf Tournament, which will be held on October 8th.
"I am always happy to see a local company do well and I'm looking forward to being a part of this event," Irwin said. "And, of course, I'm always a fan of anything that has to do with golf, so it will be fun to congratulate the winners of the ESS Golf Tournament."

Irwin, a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, ranks 32nd among all-time winners on the PGA Tour, has 15 more Champions Tour victories than anyone else. He has finished among the top three in 40 percent of his events and in the top 10 in 70 percent. In addition to his three U.S. Open wins, Irwin has seven major titles on the Champions Tour and eight second-place finishes.
ESS EXPO.06 is scheduled to be held October 8-12 at Pointe South Mountain Resort in Phoenix, and will feature unique industry and market-focused sessions, along with exhibits by several of the top EH&S and Crisis Management technology and service providers. Last year's event, also held at Pointe South, drew more than 220 people from 11 different countries, making it one of the largest EH&S and Crisis Management users conferences in the country.
