Latest NPI facility emission data - 2005-06

Latest NPI data is now available on the NPI website.

Highlights include:

• Facility data was published on the NPI web site on 31 January 2007.
• This was the eighth NPI reporting year.
• Since reporting started in 1999, the number of facilities reporting to the NPI has trebled.
• Facilities reported on 86 of the 90 NPI substances from 3835 facilities.
• 47 of the 90 NPI substances reported by facilities showed a decrease compared to the previous year
